Little Theatre Culture Center, Inc. is a dance studio located in Ken Caryl in Littleton, CO. We are family owned, 3rd generation, and have been around for over 60 years now!
Roberta & Ray Thornsberry, our founders of Little Theatre, started our dance studio home with the hopes of creating a place where they could raise dancers who would make a difference in the world. Our current owner, Debbie Vecchiarelli, the daughter of Roberta and Ray, still holds true to their values and has passed these values on to her daughter, Leah Fox, our Business Manager and one of our teachers, as well as so many other students.
“Where Refinement Reigns” stands for us creating and refining dancers who will know hard work, respect for themselves and others, and perseverance. At Little Theatre we believe ballet is the key and foundation to every subject of dance.
Little Theatre is and has been a dance family to every kind of dancer. We have dancers who have gone on to open their own dance studios, receive dance scholarships, or just continue their dance passion. We also have the dancers who play soccer, gymnastics, or just come to enjoy dance for what it is, an outlet. Whatever kind of dancer walks through the door at Little Theatre will walk into a dance studio as well a family!
Dance Attire
For our ballet and tap classes: black leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes.
Jazz students wear black leotard and black jazz pants.
Hair should be neatly away from the face in a bun.
Performing Opportunities
Little Theatre offer many performing opportunities. There are studio performances, community appearances, as well as our Big Show in June. Students learn cooperation, responsibility, stage presence and develop confidence through these appearances.
A Personal Comment
Little Theatre Dancers are known locally and nationally as the school with the Classy dancers. We are proud of our reputation and strive to improve our teaching technique to give the student the training they need to excel in dance. Our staff is sensitive to the individual needs of their students and welcome your input. We know the confidence and self discipline along with the sheer joy of dancing will last a lifetime.
Birthday parties
